This past Tuesday, April 27 the BC Sportfishing Group had a client catch an 11 foot sturgeon on the Harrison River.  The Harrison and Fraser Rivers are home to this pre-historic fresh water fish 12 months out of the year.

The Harrison Festival Society proudly presents Fathead this evening at 8:00pm in the historic Harrison Memorial Hall.  This Blues Tour De Force has had a long steady climb tearing up the North American festival circuit since their debut CD in 1995.  Winner of two juno awards and numerous Maple blues awards, Fathead is a truly original band with a sound immediately recognizable as their own.

The Harrison Visitor Centre is now selling the BC Parks Annual Vehicle Parking Passes.  These passes are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase and may be used at any BC Park that charges vehicle parking fees, including nearby Sasquatch Park.  The cost is $25.
